Hi, I'm Dylan Ledbetter
IoT Edge Systems Architect
I design, deploy, and manage secure edge computing nodes, robust container environments, and remote communication links at scale. Focused on Linux orchestration, SCADA interfacing, and resilient network architectures.
About Me
I am an experienced Platform Engineer and IoT Edge Systems Architect with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry at ExxonMobil. Specializing in secure edge computing, configuration management, and hybrid-cloud container environments.
My design philosophy centers around high availability, automated host provisioning, failover telemetries, and containerized edge logic. I excel at orchestrating Linux distributions, writing high-efficiency Bash and Python control scripts, and integrating hardware sensors with cloud endpoints.
Resilient Edge
Designing localized edge architectures that operate autonomously even during total network blackouts.
Smart Comms
Architecting hybrid connection paths utilizing cellular networks, LEO satellites, and local industrial fieldbuses.
Scale Control
Standardizing configuration states across massive device grids using Ansible, Puppet, and OpenShift clusters.
